IGS owners on an active playground installation site

Built by People Who Have
Spent Their Careers
on the Ground

Built on decades of combined field experience, hands-on ownership,
and installation teams developed through real-world recreation projects.

Why We Build

Built for the Memories
That Last

Maybe it’s the merry-go-round — hanging on as it spun faster and faster, seeing how long you could last before you fell off.

Maybe it’s the swing set, pumping your legs as hard as you could, convinced that if you just went a little higher you might actually take off.

Maybe it’s something simpler: a rocket ship bolted to the ground that somehow felt like it could go anywhere.

Maybe it’s just the feeling of being outside, moving, free — until your mom called you home.

Whatever the memory, it begins in a place someone built.

IGS helps build the spaces where those memories are made.

What We Believe

The World Needs More Places That Pull People Together

Not on a screen. Not through a feed. Face to face, outside, in the same space at the same time. A playground does that. A park does that. A well-built outdoor space gives families a reason to show up — and to keep showing up. Children play. Neighbors meet. Families spend time together. A community starts to feel connected.

That’s the future we’re building toward — recreation spaces that remain part of a community for generations. Equipment may change, spaces may be renewed, but the purpose remains the same: creating places where people can come together and a community can call its own.

It doesn’t happen by accident. These spaces are built carefully and intentionally, with the expectation that they will serve communities for years to come. The experience behind IGS includes returning to recreation spaces across different stages of their life — from new installation to renovation and replacement. We don’t approach the work as simply an installation. We build with the long term in mind.

Our Beginning

The Standard Came
Before the Company

The standard behind IGS began years before the company itself. Titus Gunter entered the playground industry in the early 2000s, working in the field and seeing firsthand the difference between simply completing an installation and delivering the level of service a customer should expect. In 2005, he started his own installation company and continued building the field experience, customer relationships, and expectations for workmanship that would later help shape IGS.

Years later, IGS was founded by Titus Gunter and Jason Weeks to solve a broader industry challenge: highly skilled installers often had the field expertise to do exceptional work, but lacked the administrative support, consistent project flow, and infrastructure needed to grow strong installation businesses. IGS was built to connect that field expertise with the coordination, standards, and business support needed to serve customers across multiple markets.

The standard came before the company.

IGS was built to carry it forward through experienced installation teams, consistent processes, and accountable leadership.

Why IGS Exists

One Network.
More Flexibility.
One Standard.

IGS was created to solve a challenge on both sides of the commercial recreation installation industry.

Customers Need

Qualified installation teams, consistent pricing, reliable coordination, and the flexibility to keep projects moving when schedules or site conditions change.

IGS brings the two together.
Installers Need

Steady opportunities and the freedom to focus on what they do best in the field, while IGS supports the coordination and administrative work behind the project.

But flexibility should never come at the expense of quality.

Every IGS installation team is brought into the IGS way of working — not only in how we build, but in how we communicate, solve problems, and serve our customers. That development continues over time because there is always something to learn and always a way to improve the craft.

Our network of independent installation businesses is supported by centralized estimating, scheduling, project coordination, deliveries, communication, and administration. That gives customers access to multiple qualified teams across markets rather than depending on the availability of a single installer.

The result is greater flexibility for our customers, more consistent opportunities for our installation partners, and quality work delivered to one shared standard.

Independent businesses.
Shared resources.
Continual training.
One IGS Standard.
Our People

The People
Behind the Standard

We don’t cut corners on the recreation spaces communities trust us to build. The people who use those spaces deserve work that is thoughtful, dependable, and built to last. This isn’t simply what we do — it reflects how we approach the work.

The IGS Standard doesn’t live in a manual. It lives in the people who uphold it.

Titus Gunter
Owner

Titus Gunter

Quality matters, details matter, and a project is not finished simply because the installation is complete.

Background

Titus’s first playground memory is a giant rocket-ship slide in El Paso, Texas. Titus entered the playground and recreation industry in the early 2000s and has spent more than two decades working in the field, building customer relationships, and developing a reputation for doing the work the right way.

Approach

He has developed a reputation for looking at a problem from every angle, understanding how the pieces affect one another, and finding a practical way forward when others may be unsure how to proceed.

Outside Work

Outside of work, Titus’s life centers on family, friends, and community. He enjoys fishing, golf, travel, and a house full of people and good food.

Jason Weeks
Owner

Jason Weeks

Show up, take care of people, do what you said you would do, and leave things better than you found them.

Background

Jason Weeks came to the playground industry from a different direction than most. Before he ever worked on a playground, he worked with the people who use them.

Approach

Jason is patient when conditions change, methodical when a problem needs to be worked through, and focused on finding a solution that protects the project and the relationship.

Outside Work

Jason and his wife, Heather, have raised three children and spent years supporting their schools and communities.

Lisa Gunter
Director | Operations & Client Relations

Lisa Gunter

For Lisa, relationships matter as much as efficiency.

Lisa’s first playground memory is the merry-go-round — holding on tight and seeing just how fast it could go. Apparently, she developed an appreciation for momentum early.

Background

As Director | Operations & Client Relations, Lisa helps connect the many details behind IGS’s field work.

Approach

Within IGS leadership, Lisa brings organization, pace, and a strong instinct for keeping people and information connected.

Outside Work

She also enjoys opening her home for a good dinner party, staying active, and traveling — especially when the trip includes somewhere new to explore and a little adventure along the way.

Giving Back

The Work That Doesn’t Show Up on an Invoice

The clearest measure of a standard is what someone does when nobody is paying them to hold it.

Giving back has always been part of the character behind IGS. Sometimes that means donating labor and materials. Sometimes it means supervising a project, helping a family through a difficult season, supporting a school or church, or raising money for a cause that matters. Much of that work is never photographed or promoted. It simply gets done because someone has the ability to help.

Titus — Helping Where There’s a Need

Titus has a long history of quietly helping families, churches, and community organizations with construction needs. That has included rebuilding a widow’s deck, donating labor and concrete for a church project, supervising charitable installations, and stepping in on other local needs when his experience or resources could make a difference. Most of it was never documented because it was never done for recognition.

Jason — Community Through Service

Jason and his family have supported schools, community organizations, Buddy Bench initiatives, and charitable fundraising, including recurring efforts benefiting children’s health research. His approach is much the same: support the people around you, strengthen the community, and leave things better than you found them.

Different needs. Different ways of helping. The same principle: when you can make a difference, you show up.

Experience Beyond the Mainland

Projects That Take More Than a Drive

IGS leadership has supported recreation projects in a range of environments, including Guantanamo Bay, Grand Cayman, and Costa Rica — experience that has strengthened the team’s ability to adapt to different sites, logistics, and project requirements.

The Work Continues

Every project becomes a place someone will
use, experience, and remember.

That’s what we’re building toward —
and we’d like to build it with you.
